Have you ever had a client who finds the perfect home, and makes an offer,gets it accepted and then has second thoughts or cold feet? I must admit it has happened to me on more than one occasion in my real estate career. I had a first time home buyer who I had been working with for months and we had looked a several homes until he found the perfect one. Well, we took some serious hits this week in the bond market. We have switched our focus from the FNMA 5.5 Bond to the FNMA 6.0 Bond that really is how much we fell this week. the talk about inflation and oil has hurt both the stock and the bond market. 
The agents from our office , brokers in charge, company owner and guests decided to have a boat ride Tuesday night after work. We all met at the boat which was docked at Topsail Beach at 6:00. The weather was great! 
Once again I was selected to do a MeMe and this is hopefully my last time of it.
It is easy to find the history of your land and mineral rights if you have the time. Mike and I went to the Denton County Clerk's office and in less than two hours we knew our history-who owned our property and when. We wanted to see in writing what our mineral rights were, and not take anyone's word for what we owned. The county's land records go back to the 1850's and are also accessible on the Internet. The increase could bring Saudi output to a production level of 10 million barrels a day, which, if sustained, would be the kingdom's highest ever. In recent weeks, soaring fuel costs have incited demonstrations and protests from Italy to Indonesia.
On a short sale counter for California...if the house is in default...what would you put on the counter to protect the seller? I always do the SAA form, but feel there could be more verbage...does anyone out there have more to add to a counter (even if we have to add an addendum) I don't want to have to be redundant about what I put in a counter if I attach the SAA form. Thanks for your input!
