Boat ride in Topsail inlet Rained out - 06:02 PM
Well today Jerry and I packed up and set out to the water to get in the boat for a ride to Wilmington.  Our plan was to take our time and get to Bluewater Restaurant just behind the Sunday crowd, tie up the boat and have a nice lunch on the waterfront.
The boat was still in the water at Queens Grant from the last fishing trip.  We parked the car on the sound side of Queens Grant and loaded up and started our trip.  Keep in mind boats are coming past us constantly moving pretty fast...why the hurry?  We got to the Assembly … (0 comments)

Despite Severe Drought, San Diego County Water Authority Says No Mandatory Restrictions - 12:21 AM
A few weeks ago, our Governor declared that state wide drought conditions are now severe and ordered the Department of Water resources to transfer water to the areas with the severe shortages as requested.
Meanwhile, back in San Diego County, the San Diego County Water Authority declares that despite the drought and despite the plan for the drought that they developed in 2006, they are not going to mandate restrictions but would rely on the first stage of their plan, voluntary water conservation under a program called the " 20-Gallon Challenge". Dare We Hope For a Sense Of Reasonableness In California - 06:31 PM
California Is Lacking Sufficient Water and Power Resources.
We lack water and power resources in California, at least enough to serve the 39 million inhabitants. And at any given time there are another million or so visiting. Not to mention  several other million not counted. This is 1 in 9 inhabitants of the whole country.
Conservationists seem to have an agenda to delay or defer any possibility for the new sources that may be found or utilized as in the case of water Desalination. They also help to prevent or delay water reservoirs being built. So be it.

Two women were walking through the woods when a frog called out to them and said: "Help me, ladies! I am a real estate broker who, through a curse, has been transformed into a frog. If one of you will kiss me, I'll be returned to my former state!"One woman took out her purse, grabbed the frog, and stuffed it inside her handbag. The other woman said, "Didn't you hear him? Bad days do not exist unless you truly believe it is a bad day....Everyday you are walking the earth is a OUTSTANDING DAY and a freaking miracle and should be celebrated to the max!
 
Sure, I have had bad days...but those days are gone forever and that is why "now" is called the "present"

Unlike Coca-Cola who decided to revamp itself back in the 1980's, Knightlines Mortgage Services, LLC of Lake County, Florida is leaving the recipe of its success alone. However, in a bold move Knightlines is updating its branding image.
While the logo remains a knight, the image has been transformed into a more regal and elegant symbol. No longer trapped in a box, the knight is now the central focus of an all encompassing sphere to elude to the company's wholeness and understanding of the mortgage industry, both commercial and residential.

"I Could Hear Your Smile Over The Phone" - 01:54 AM
I showed townhomes Saturday afternoon to a buyer client who's relocating to the area. After a few hours of showing him around Lynchburg we ended up back at  the office. As we were shaking hands he said " I looked for realtors online, went to their websites and called a few. You were the first person to call me back and I could hear your smile over the phone. I knew you'd be the person I wanted to work with". Wow. I must admit ... it's been hot here in Chandler. As I share this picture with you, I glance down at my weather report and it flashes a 110 at me ... yes, it's that hot. So, when I was driving down the street and saw this car in front of me ... my first thought was "Really? Pink? It must be a mirage".  You know - when you think you're seeing something that's not really there....  Ever have that happen to you? What do you think? Want one?

Its time to Stop Procrastinating! School Starts Sooner than you think! - 10:39 PM
Are you still planning to move this summer to the Chicago Northwest Suburbs,including Buffalo Grove, Vernon Hills, Long Grove or Lincolnshire.   Whether you live close by or across the country,  its time to stop procrastinating!   Time is running out if you want to settle your kids in their new schools for the 2008/2009 year.    In most districts in the area, School starts sooner than you think...  the third week of August. 




If and when you stop procrastinating, there are many great buys right now in all of the communities.  I have never seen so many short sales and foreclosures … (9 comments)

Of the real estate (or even general sales) trainers, speakers and/or authors you're familiar with... who has been most influential in your career? Who "speaks" most clearly to you? Whose principles / strategies / methods do you use in your business (or wish you did)?

New York Feng Shui Consultations....Long Distance Feng Shui by Feng Shui Long Island & New York City - 08:02 PM
In Feng Shui, we evaluate a home or a business from many different aspects.  We want to see if it will support a client, if there are any particular issues with the home that might interfere with important principles of Feng Shui, if our clients will grow and thrive in a particular place.
