Thinking of relocating to our beautiful Charleston, SC area? The historic downtown district is loaded with century's old glimpses into the past along with excellent shopping, dining, boutiques, galleries, antique stores and cafes galore.
Imagine, as a listing agent, showing up at a closing and having to explain to your seller that they are going to get $10,000 less than you told them they would. 
In the last few days two scams have come to my attention. Both involve individuals who are not licensed trying to sell real estate. Two days ago I got a call from a women who works at a building management company. She has an office at the building so individuals who walk in and are interested in buying or sellers who live in the building think that she is licensed and that it is legal for her to show and negotiate properties. Golden Oaks is a subdivisions of nearly 400 homes located in the Northwest section of the City of Aurora. It was built by Pulte Homes between 1990 and 1994 and consists of small to medium-sized homes ranging from around 1200 to 2300 square feet. Short Sales in Chicago - Illinois Pre Foreclosure Listings:
Tomorrow is the deadline day. Those that wish to remain members of our board of realtors must have paid their dues by close of business today, paying tomorrow will result in late fees etc. So tomorrow becomes the day in which we find out how many of our fellow Realtors will continue as Realtors. I know that they may still continue as Real Estate Sales Agents, they just won't have MLS access. 
I work in the Tampa Real Estate Market and I know for some agents, the market is tough for them. I look at it differently since I am a different kind of realtor. I learned Real Estate from a Technical Point of view being an engineer in the past so my real estate business is pretty busy. In either event, some of the negotiations that I have gone through have been heated on the other side of the negotiation. Freddie Mac, the government-backed entity that buys mortgages on the secondary market to provide liquidity, is getting more aggressive in trying to slow down the foreclosure train on loans it owns. Evidently it feels it has to do more than what it has done thus far in order to minimize the damage. Its new initiative is to better reward workouts by mortgage servicers.
