I was holding a broker's open last Wednesday, and had a very good turnout. I served delicious sandwiches and fruit, knowing that If I serve lunch in Buffalo Grove, I would get a 4 x greater turnout, then if I didn't serve lunch. Approximately 15 realtors attended (that's relatively good turnout in my area) and gave me excellent feedback for me to relay to my seller. For about 3 weeks, I've succumbed to the "bad headline blues" and pretty much moped around, bemoaning the market, my expired listing (this in particular makes me INSANE), my unmotivated buyers. We arrived at the Mount Washington Hotel at about 10 a.m. and Jay is already on the golf course. I was very lucky that my suite was ready and I was able to get settled in early!
