Addition to strangest items found in Bank owned Real Estate - 09:33 PM
I wanted to add to my recent blog Strangest Items Found in Bank Owned Homes. My assistant recently went into a new listing of ours and in the property she found nothing then the image below. I think this is right up in there in the strangest items found in bank owned real estate. It's pretty creepy if you ask me. But I think the dog from my previous post takes the cake. If you get nightmares tonight it's not my fault.

Sarah Palin "serves" William Shatner on SNL - 10:32 AM
Okay, I realize that by now most of you have probably already seen this YouTube video from another source. In a day and age when so many politicians take themselves and their images far, far too seriously, its nice to see that Sarah Palin, who has been treated anything but fairly in the MSM, can deal with it with humor and good grace.

Speechless Sunday, another GREEN flash attempt - 12:40 PM

Previously
*** *** *** ***
Haven't seen one in quite some time now but will never give up the hunt.  When there are clouds on the ocean/sky horizon or haze it can't happen, so the green flash is rare.  Do come and attempt to see one yourself.  Regardless of the outcome you will love the time spent in the effort.
Mele Kalikimaka to all of my AR friends
and
Mahalo for taking a look.

Is this common? They must have had really BIG pests. - 12:58 PM
Clearly this hotel had a pest problem.  That's not unusual in Hawaii but I have never seen a building this large tented.

It appeared that the tent was custom created just for this structure because it did not have the usual clips, tucks and folds that we see on houses.
Pest inspectors, is this common?

Do Your Greeting Cards Send the Wrong Message? - 11:36 AM

You try to stay on the leading edge of technology and pride yourself on staying abreast of technology trends and yet...you are sending out paper-based greeting cards once again this year. Why?
Think about it...to quote Marshall McLuhan "the medium is the message". What does it say about us when we use paper-based cards to send our holiday greetings? On the one hand, it says I respect the differences between us when you are sending a snail mail greeting to someone who is not a frequent user of the Internet, which is important. However, when we send paper-based cards to … (13 comments)

I have been trying to figure out how to change the size, color, and style of my fonts on AR. There may be other ways to do this, for example, if you use the Mozilla Foxfire browser. Unfortunately my MLS system will only support Internet Explorer, so I had to find another solution. I searched for one on the www.about.com website and found a free online HTML editor. It's very simple, nothing fancy, but it does make your posts look a little bit more interesting.

Buyer Alert: 10 Steps for a Successful Condo Purchase - 10:20 PM

Many HOAs are going bankrupt these days and high delinquency rates and deferred maintenance problems have forced many complexes to be CASH ONLY. Since there are far fewer cash buyers, the prices are driven down.
Here are 10 action points to take upfront.  Also check … (4 comments)
