HELP! ZipForm 6 Professional Installation Problem - 06:50 PM
California Association of REALTORS (C.A.R.) has been offering an upgrade to the older WinForms but I am having difficulties with getting it to work.  Any help would be appreciaited.  I have already spent nearly two hours on the phone with tech support but to no avail.
I have a laptop with Vista Home Premium (64-bit) operating system, Service Pack 1.  I have tried Internet Explorer (IE7, standard 32 bit version) and Firefox 3.5.6 but can only get as far as the list of transactions.  When I try to open one, the software fails and says that Java Runtime is missing/wrong/incorrect version.  … (2 comments)

According to a new study, Florida has ranked as the third happiest state in the country. The study combined life satisfaction surveys with economist's quality of life data. Although the link above gives all the happiness rankings for all the states, the five happiest and least happy states are listed below.
The five happiest states include; Louisiana, Hawaii, Florida, Tennessee, Arizona.
The five least happy states include; New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Michigan and Indiana.

I had to comment on and Reblog this post by Jay Markanich, regarding home inspections in new construction.
Builders have another opportunity to shine when buyers have home inspections.
1.  They can show the buyer how few and how minor the gigs are.
2.  They can prove to the buyer how responsive they are to issues with the house.
Of course, this opportunity only presents itself to a builder who cares to hide nothing, and is confident in his product.
But, in North Carolina, it is illegal for a licensed real estate agent to in any way dissuade a buyer from having a home inspection … (3 comments)

Our Whirlwind Tour of Hue City, the Tu Hieu Pagoda and Imperial Palace - 09:19 AM

I was astonished at the price of airfare within the country of Viet Nam. We flew from Ha Noi to Da Nang for about $25 U.S. It's a short flight, too, about an hour. The weather was picking up in Ha Noi when we left, the sun was coming out, but it was still overcast in Da Nang. We drove to our hotel in Hue City, the Morin, which was my favorite hotel in Viet Nam. It had a double king-sized bed, cherry wood floors, and we had a view of the Perfume River and Trang Tien bridge pictured below:

Just in time for Christmas. . 
A short sale referral came in 65 days ago from a friend Realtor.
We are closing on Wednesday the 23rd of December
A check of nearly $2000 to the referring agent. .and she is not even expecting it!
I will deliver it before Christmas
All she did was give me a name.. .and her client was SAVED from a FORECLOSURE
 FACT:  In a short sale, you sell your house. . in a foreclosure you lose it!

Doing short sales required a  lot of detailed work.

Sagadahoc County November 2009 Housing Report - 09:14 AM
The Sagadahoc County real estate markets saw 37 transactions take place at a median sold price of 150K and a median days on market of 65 in November 2009. This contrasts with 19 homes sold at a median sold price of 177K after sitting on the market for 113 days in November 2008. Representing a transaction volume increase of almost 100% but a pretty significant pricing drop of 15%. This market has been very slower than its counterparts to the south and the increased volume is a great sign of hopefully continuing improvement.
