Far back as I can remember, my family always served ham on Christmas day. So, it's not surprising that I would continue with this tradition as an adult. Besides, it's a lot less work than stuffing a turkey.
Every year I prepare a planetary ham with champagne sauce. Ditto for this year. Wednesday was sunny and 75 degrees. Thursday brought us wind, cold and snow!
For only the 6th time in 111 years, the Dallas area has a truly white Christmas.

We love because God first loved us. As ambassadors of God, it is through our love for others that we let our light shine. When you spread God's love in everything you do, God can do wonders through you.

I'm always on the look out for free software that does a good job.
Today's free software is picture editing software from Artensoft.
The new version was released this week and is being offered free today.
 
 
 
 
They normally have a free version that is does not have all of the full version features BUT todays free offer has all features.

About a week ago I posted a video of my daughter Brittany practicing Silent Night. She had been practicing for weeks after finding out she was going to have her first solo at the Christmas Eve service at our church. The Greenburg neighborhood of Tigard, Oregon goes east, starting at 121stAve, to Hwy 217, and south, from Scholls Ferry to Pacific Highway (99w). This part of Tigard, Oregon is partially in Tigard School district and partially in the Beaverton School District. The only park in this area of Tigard is Englewood Park near Scholls Ferry road. However, it does connect to a much larger park on the Beaverton side of Scholls Ferry Road, called Greenway Park.
