The President of the DR has signed into law the formation of Dominican Limited Liability Company’s
This will allow future American LLC integration with Dominican LLC's without going through the previous complicated processes. The pricing on the island continues to drop, which once the economy settles the pricing will be in line to create new sales.

$8,000 First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit - 03:22 AM
This is definitely not news to most people, but considering the number of questions I'm still receiving, it seems like a review and recap might be a good idea.
The “American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009” passed the House and Senate on February 13, 2009, and was signed by President Obama on February 17, 2009.
The bill is a $780 billion package, roughly one-third of which is dedicated to a home buyer credit.

Queen Creek, Arizona Recognized for Excellent Financial Strength - 04:01 PM

Standard and Poor's (S&P), a globally recognized credit rating agency, has increased the Town of Queen Creek's bond rating from "A-" to "A."
In addition, S&P raised the Town's financial assessment from "standard" to "good."
"Having S&P increase the Town's bond rating from an 'A-' to and 'A' is very good news for our community," said John Kross, Queen Creek Town Manager. "The higher rating means that the Town's overall rating increases slightly from its current 'A-' status. This rating adjustment is a strong indicator of the Town's overall financial health."

Thunder in the Desert Air Show" - 05:06 PM
 

On Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22, 2009 The people of the west valley will welcome the 2009 "Thunder in the Desert Air Show" at the Luke Air Force Base. One of the Stars of the show will be the F-22 Raptor Aerial Demonstration Team. It will be the first time the Raptor will be flying in a show at Luke, so I believe it will be an incredible demonstration of what the Air Force has been doing over the last few years.

Burning Bridges on Craigslist - Its Not Just AIG That is Ticking People Off - Joe Public is Speaking His Mind - 09:47 AM
          Forget Joe the Plumber, Joe Public is wanting America's businesses to hear him, and he is doing it on Craigslist.
     The ads on Craigslist may have caused a stir with their Meat Market  media, but there is a new buzz.  Employers thinking that there is a smoke screen of discretion when advertising on craigslist, is going to learn that the smoke is coming from previous or presently employees burning bridges.
     Employers are advertising available positions for much lower pay. Emloyers seem to be hitting a proverbial bees nest when advertising lower pay, and it  is obviously causing quite a sting in potential employees wallets. The buzz is sure … (8 comments)

If You Never Saved Money, Are You Now Richer For the Experiences You Bought? - 04:05 PM
    As I sit here philosophically pondering, I wonder:
    Are the people who never saved money, and spent money on "experiences" richer now than the people who saved their money only to see it virtually disappear in this economy?
    If your parents are "old school" (like mine), if you didn't have the money for "it", you didn't buy "it".  And if credit was used, you paid "it" off, and worried  until the debt was paid in full... celebrating with exuberant relief when the weight of that monetary burden was lifted.

If you were a seller or buyer would you hire you?
I have been working on an offer for over three weeks.  The other agent hasn't been all that communicative. (non-existent, I helped his buyers get their final paperwork for their financing, bank asked me to help since they couldn't get their agent to respond!)  Dialogue is key to getting our clients to the closing table.  Why do agents think we are adversaries?
We each have an obligation to our clients...OK....isn't part of that working together to meet a mutually acceptable common ground for our clients?  Negotiating in good … (6 comments)

If you have ever been on a listing appointment you have heard these words.
How long will it take to sell my house?
When will the buyers make an offer?
Buyer and Agent feedback.  Why did they say that about my beautiful home? 
Many agents easily forget, they see homes every day...well most of them do.  They are concerned about marketing getting buyers to come to properties.  They are concerned that their advertising will be seen.  Agents are focused on things sellers never think of or have been exposed too, that why you hire an agent....to sell your home!

Growing or Going! - 10:45 AM
I had the pleasure of meeting a couple of agents this week that are joining my company.
They have their act together and need some tools to get their business heated up again.
I had to ask them are you Growing or Going?  They looked at me with a questioning look.  They had no clue what I was asking.
It is very simple over 22% of the brokers have left our MLS since the end of the year, December 2008.  That also indicates that more are on the edge of leaving...how do I know?
