One of my favorite restaurants in Desert Mountain is at the Renegade golf course at Desert Mountain. This course has a great restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. I like this restaurant not only because it is directly on the golf course and has great food, but also because it is completely casual and a relaxing place to get a bite to eat. Some clubs can make one feel uncomfortable and may seem “snooty”, not here. I like to have Sunday morning breakfast here. By the way, they make a great Bloody Marys. It's the end of April, and once again, there's snow on the ground in Calgary, which although everyone moans about it, it is entirely... entirely usual. Each year, as soon as the tulips have dared to stretch their way out of their garden beds, they can expect a fresh blanket of snow to cover them right back up. This is my favorite time of year in Deer Ridge. We've lived here for just over 10 years now. The weather is supposed to be sunny and very mild in New York City this entire weekend, so it's a great day to come to Marine Park's Salt Marsh Nature Center and check out the Earth Day celebration. The event is on Sunday, April 26 starts at 10 am and runs through the afternoon. Folks so inclined can participate in community service, park clean-up, nature crafts and an ecology hike. Fannie Mae has introduced a new program. This program is designed to assist the mortgage industry by streamlining the refinance process for potentially millions of Americans. Fannie Mae has loosened the rules for homeowners seeking lower monthly payments. Fannie Mae now allows homeowners to refinance up to 105% of the current value of their home and will accept borrowers with credit scores of 620 or better. The best part is that there is no PMI on this streamline refi.

Ralph Teetor, blinded as the result of a childhood accident, was President of the Perfect Circle Company located in Hagerstown, Indiana. Mr. Teetor held many U.S. Patents. One of his notable inventions included the "Speed-O-Stat" an ingenious apparatus for automobiles, now known as the cruise control.
