I may catch a lot of heat for this blog, because after all, the Obama Administration has been taking a proactive approach to the foreclosure crisis, and I do believe in giving credit where credit is due.
But facts are facts, and the fact is the government has acted in cahoots with the lending industry to put the interests of the banks ahead of the interests of homeowners.   They have cynically crafted an overly simplistic message which implies that governmental action has made obtaining a loan modification easier than getting an oil change!

READY FOR ANOTHER GREAT WEEK - 12:51 PM
I am coming off a great week. I am looking forward to this week. People are buying houses because they are ordering home inspections from me. I am busy every day this week. Again, I am not saying no to work. I am making myself available pretty much all the time so I can ride this wave as long as possible. My friend owns his own appraisal company. He is adjusting to the new HVCC laws. Wow-it has been quite a change for him. How is your business doing at this current time?

I just got out of a great lunch meeting with my other Network members. WE need to take time out and reconnect with our own people inside of our network. I learned some great things about real estate and latest with general contracting business. Men's NCAA Golf Tournament - 09:51 PM
Sunday and Monday were going to be two days of practice for the NCAA players.  I had the opportunity Sunday to watch some mighty fine golf on Sunday. 
I say Sunday because the nice weather went to NW rain in Blaine on Monday.  Sunday the weather was near perfect, 78 degrees, beautiful blue sky and not much wind. 
I heard a couple of the players say that the 12th hole was challenging.
The guys were tearing up the course.  It was encouraging to see someone actually grip it and rip it.  I didn't see any player stare down the ball or do a pre-swing waggle before … (0 comments)

Sometimes. But it is a complicated process and a lot will depend on the lender.
This process is called a "short sale," which occurs when a lender agrees to write off the portion of a mortgage that is higher than the value of a home. But, usually, a buyer must be willing to purchase the property first.
A short sale may be more complex if the loan has been sold in the secondary market. Then the lender will need permission from Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae, the two major secondary-market players.

As a newbie to the real estate world I want to share my stories and experiences.
My wife Maureen and I are taking some tax certificate classes in Jacksonville FL. we had a list of about 350 homes that had not paid taxes and so we did research on each of the homes to fine out the address, tax ID number, zip code, outstanding liens etc.
By the time we finished over 60% of them had paid their taxes and were struck from the list!! Ah well we will put that down to experience and at list we learned our way around … (0 comments)

From the very get go....Everyone judges the listing from the outside in. The appraisal is the beginning of the process. It's like the first impression on your first date. You want your clothes to be perfect, your hair, your smile, your aroma....everything. Same for your listing.
It doesn't matter if it's a million dollar listening or a foreclosure. GET THE BEST PRICE!! GIVE THE BEST IMPRESSION!
