Delay Foreclosure in Ann Arbor
Do you know someone who is facing foreclosure?  Produce the Note may give the foreclosure home owners a delay in the bank's proceedings as described in this vdeo. Maybe this will help an Ann Arbor home owner this year. Video Link.
If you are looking at your options, you can call Washtneaw County Treasurer's office or call an agent who will give your your options - preferably one who is a certified distressed property expert. If you are looking to buy some Ann Arbor foreclosures and get some unheard of deals, let us examine what is … (2 comments)

Ann Arbor Michigan Real Estate: Happy New Year from Kathy Toth and the Ann Arbor Real Estate Team

Well, 2009 has been an interesting year! Something which many have not realized that 2009 marks the end of the decade - sure we have come along way and much has changed since 1999 and the dawn of the new millenium.  (Remember all that "Y2K is coming!" well, that was 10 years ago!)
2010 will likely be much better for the real estate market.
Signs of an upward trend are everywhere, prices in some areas of the nation are up, locally prices … (5 comments)

Today's open house - 08:29 PM
Happy New Year to all!
Unllike many on this forum, I sit open houses. It is a tool that works in Sun City AZ, since the greatest percentage of our buyers are retired and almost retired.
I am not a big football fan, but love the Rose Parade, so after the parade I decided to sit my listing at 17823 N. Del Webb Blvd. for a couple of hours. It was the best open house I have had this "snowbird" season. I was the only agent holding an open anywhere near and had a productive time.
A great start to the … (2 comments)

Now There’s No Excuse - 09:01 AM
It’s the best news in real estate since last year’s First Time Home Buyers Tax Credit: an estimated $22 billion will pump into our economy as a result of the government not only extending the tax credit, but including current homeowners, too.The existing $8,000 maximum credit stays in place for first-time buyers. A "first-time" buyer is one who has not owned a home during the three years prior to the purchase. However, repeat buyers who have lived in their home for five of the past eight years may also qualify for up to a $6,500 tax credit on their purchase.Unlike before, … (6 comments)

Strength in Numbers - 09:11 AM

Selling your home in anything other than an active market can seem challenging, but what do you do when yours is only one of many homes in your neighborhood with For Sale signs?  Surprisingly, there are actually some advantages to marketing your home in this situation. More buyers are drawn to neighborhoods where they can preview more homes at once.  More buyers means more opportunities for your home to be seen and to attract an offer, so make your listing stand out against your competition. Price your home aggressively after reviewing the comparable sales figures provided by your real … (4 comments)

More prime mortgages default in 3rd quarter - 08:46 AM
Reporting from Washington - Troubled home loans continued to mount in the nation's banks in the third quarter as even once-solid borrowers increasingly fell behind on their mortgage payments. For the first quarter ever, the number of homes in foreclosure with mortgages serviced by U.S. national banks and savings and loans topped the 1-million mark, according to figures released Monday by the Office of Thrift Supervision and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. The percentage of prime borrowers whose loans were 60 or more days past due doubled from the July-to-September period a year earlier. And more than half of … (0 comments)

But because of a huge rise in property prices, a four-bedroom home that would have sold for $200,000 five years ago sells for $500,000 today. - 04:45 PM
New Housing bubble? In a neighborhood called "Little Mogadishu"  large business and apartment buildings have sprung up. A similar explosion of real estate development can be seen in higher-income areas of the city.

Is That A Root Beer Float In The Attic? - 06:08 AM
DANGER WILL ROBINSON!

AGENTS AND BROKERS.  SOMETHING TO PUT IN YOUR MEMORY BANKS.
Sooner or later, we real estate licenses run into a product that just screams out"
DANGER WILL ROBINSON!
Jay Markanich, a home inspector out of Bristow, VA, alerts us to a product that you might want to remember.
How many remember the deteriorating roofs due to the plywood roof decks that fell apart under the roof tiles?
How many remember the expensive homes rotting from the inside out from the use of artificial stucco??
How many of us watch for gray water pipes in homes??

HUD to Help Homeowners with Defective Drywall - 06:18 AM
Big deal!!!!
The payments go on.  If the homeowner has to pay for other lodging while the drywall is replace, they'll probably default.
This is the biggest phony-balony "help" to date.
Just another press release.

It's your job to provide them with this information if you're going to have any success online.  I just cannot stress enough the importance and the overall benefits you'll receive from being able to create some quality, informative articles (and content) on your own.
