Odenton MD added 9 new active listings to the current inventory last week. These were a good combination of offerings for anyone from first time home buyers to move up purchasers. All of the listings were townhouse or duplex style with the most expensive going for $359,900. Seven new rental listings came on the market and eight had applications registered. As you can see from the chart below, ten new listings came on the market in Crofton MD last week. These were a good combination of offerings for anyone from first time home buyers to move up purchasers. Two of the new listings were priced below $200,000, which is pretty rare for Crofton, MD. If you have never been to GREEN VALLEY LAKE, then you've been missing a tiny treasure tucked away in the San Bernardino Mountains. With a population of approx 800 folks (living there year round), it really is all about "small town atmosphere." Our hearts have all been touched by the sad disaster in Haiti. We know of one church in our area that has worked with a church and school in an area outlying from Port Au Prince. The school has survived the earthquake, but most of the teachers' homes have been destroyed. Money has been raised to help out, but the bank has not re-opened. Fortunately one of the local stores has extended credit to the pastor to buy supplies to help his community immediately. I have noted that in my MLS System there are over 200 listings with the phrase, "No commission paid on seller concessions," or words to that effect in the agent to agent remarks section. Naturally sellers do not want to pay a commission on the thousands of dollars they are crediting to the buyers for closing costs, etc. The MLS has now indicated that the statement cannot be used since current rules state that commission is paid on the gross purchase price unless otherwise mutually agreed. From a marketing perspective it sure is. IN fact if you are not emblazoning some type of emblem that is click-able that reroutes your viewer to your Twitter and Facebook Pages, you are doing yourself and your business a HUGE disservice.
So here is the Plan - go to all of your pages, sites, blogs, etc and start with the adding of the Icon's that have folks rerouting to your Facebook and Twitter Pages.
