I just noticed the Fine Lines store at 657 High St. in Worthington is gone. The sign in the window tells you they've moved to Uptown Westerville and joined forces with another similar store. Recession? Perhaps it was Irwin. Do you know the story of the haunting of the stationery store? One reason that I use Google Alerts is to see what is coming on the market and what other agents are doing to advertise their listings. Keep a sharp eye on that competition! So while perusing the area alerts I happen to see a property at a very, very good price. Must be an REO? Why haven't I noticed it before?Check in the MLS and there is nothing for sale in that town for that price, hmmmm? You know what I'm thinking here right? Yep, it's an office X (17 comments)

How to describe this market for Bloomingdale Homes? Unbelievable!A now retired agent in my office used to say this to encompass every conceivable change or option and still stay positive! I'm going to loudly reiterate that phrase to update you on recent Bloomingdale Home sales. But really it's been odd and slow.Over the last 3 months, inventory for Bloomingdale Homes was climbed from 8.8 months and ending at 15.7 months. Added inventory is going to make your home take longer to sell (especially going into the winter months). More inventory is great for buyers but not welcomed obviously as a seller. The agreement ends a state investigation into whether some mortgages sold by Wachovia Corp., Golden West and World Savings violated the Consumer Fraud Act. What is this world coming to? I have children and I think should watch how they are texting. The Orange County School Board is considering implementing tougher policies regarding students "sexting". Under the new, stricter policy, students caught sexting (sending sexy photos or dirty text messages via cell phone) could be expelled. And, under Florida law those caught sending sexually explicit photos of underage students could be charged with transmitting child pornography. The changes could (0 comments)

CAN'T FIND A HOME THAT SATISFIES??? When this happens with a home buyer, look at the price range. The buyers' expectations may exceed the market. Logically, the process is to first determine affordability factor. Then, in their qualified price range or "comfort range", we show them homes. If they do not find what makes them happy, they are clearly "out of the price range". So, an afternoon in a higher price range may show them that they will not find what they want in their price range. OR, that they need to adjust their goals and expectations of what they will (27 comments)
