You Gotta Have Showings in Order for Them to Fall in Love! - 11:14 PM
You Gotta Have Showings in Order for Them to Fall in Love! A wise seller client of mine said this to me. "You gotta have showings in order for them to fall in love." I thought that statement was right on target. I had called about the status of the property and the recent showings, and my client thought, perhaps, I was calling with good news...an offer. But the good news was there were a couple of recent showings and a call from an agent who toured recently with a buyer to check on the status. Obviously, if no one is (16 comments)
Wildcats under big pressure to win against ASU....Tucson Real Estate - 01:42 AM
Wildcats under big pressure to win against ASU....Tucson Real Estate Well, we're down to the last game to get to 8 wins. And the Sun Devils would just love to beat us at home and push our final record to a mundane 7-4, after a great 7-1 start, rubbing our noses in it. In this in state rivalry records seldom predict the outcome. We need to play much better than we did against Oregon. A full 60 minutes, by the way. As always, GO CATS. If I can ever provide more information about Tucson AZ real estate and surrounding areas, the (3 comments)
South Seas Island Resort - Captiva Island, Florida - 11:25 AM
We recently vacationed at South Seas Island Resort, located just west of Ft Meyers, FL. This resort has a marina to accommodate large yachts, numerous pools (including a family water park), a golf course, a variety of water sport opportunities, fishing charters and so much more. Or, you can just relax on the gorgeous white sand beaches and perhaps take a dip in the Gulf of Mexico. Late afternoon strolls often permit an opportunity to observe manatees as they come in to feed. And then there are the sunsets - WOW! This is an ideal place for a refreshing vacation. Enjoy the photos!

Tips To Avoid Foreclosure in the Springfield Missouri Real Estate Market - 07:18 PM
Tips To Avoid Foreclosure in the Springfield Missouri Real Estate Market Foreclosures continue to increase in the Springfield Missouri market. I've helped homeowners for the past several years keep their homes out of foreclosure. The one thing they all have had in common....they reached out and asked me to help them. Here are a few tips to avoid foreclosure. •1. Don't think ignoring the fact that you're behind will make it will go away. The farther you get behind, the harder it is to catch up on your mortgage payments. •2. Contact your lender and explain your situation. Sometimes they (3 comments)

34 days left in 2010..... Has anybody started working on their 2011 Business Plan Yet? - 06:46 PM
Its that time of the year where many of us are already working on our Business Plan for 2011. Even though we still have less than five weeks left till we reach 2011,I still believe that this would be a good time to start working on a Business Plan. I had a Business Plan for 2011 but I didn't want something better. Maybe I need to reach out to June Piper Brandon (she was soo nice to send me one but lost in my e-mail-SORRY JUNE!) and Tamara Inzunza (Matter of fact one of her first blogs that I read like two years ago was about Business Plan-It was very good (36 comments)

In a time not too far away…….. It’s November 2014. It’s over! Our economy has finally recovered. I can’t believe what we just went through. It seems like only yesterday, back in 2010, when almost 80% of the Arizona housing market was dominated by bank owned or short sales. Unbelievable. I am a business development manager (1 comments)

New Homes for Sale in San Diego California - 12:03 PM
As a recent transplant from Gilbert Arizona, I found myself searching for New Homes for Sale in San Diego California. I would do searches on the major search engines only to find a massive number of sites that were only trying to capture my personal contact information and then provide me a glimpse or a sample of what I was really looking for. As a consumer, I found this very frustrating. I have located a great website for not only searching for New Homes in San Diego California, but also searching for new homes anywhere in the United States. The best part (2 comments)
New Rules For Mortgage Qualifying From Fannie Mae On Their Way - 11:42 AM
WOW. Some big changes are on the horizon with conventional loan underwriting. The goal of course is to increase home ownership at a level that is affordable. While that is the goal of these changes, they might not be accomplishing it completely. Especially when you look at the changes in qualifying for a mortgage if you've had a foreclosure. While these changes are happening in a few weeks, it doesn't mean that they are going to go into effect with all lenders immediately. The restrictive features will probably apply, but the more liberal ones, such as down payment assistance-may not be (1 comments)

Can you trust your Realtor or your Inspector? - 06:55 PM
Joe gets this exactly right. When we refer a client to a home inspector or other service provider, we take extra care to make sure that person is worthy of our referrals - because our credibility is riding on how well they perform, as is theirs. Why on earth would we want to risk the biggest asset we have - our reputation. Thanks for saying it so well, Joe. I Really Don't Think BBA's are Such a Hot Idea - 05:04 AM
My Soul Sista' Susan knocks this one outta the park! This is exactly how I feel... buyers work with me (or you) because they WANT to which'll keep 'em more loyal than any piece of paper signed under duress ever will. How do you make them WANT to? BE a great real estate agent who knows her stuff, who shows up and who cares about her clients. It really (really) is that simple. We just try to muck it all up.
