We recently vacationed at South Seas Island Resort, located just west of Ft Meyers, FL. This resort has a marina to accommodate large yachts, numerous pools (including a family water park), a golf course, a variety of water sport opportunities, fishing charters and so much more. Or, you can just relax on the gorgeous white sand beaches and perhaps take a dip in the Gulf of Mexico. Late afternoon strolls often permit an opportunity to observe manatees as they come in to feed. And then there are the sunsets - WOW! This is an ideal place for a refreshing vacation. Enjoy the photos!

Its that time of the year where many of us are already working on our Business Plan for 2011. Even though we still have less than five weeks left till we reach 2011,I still believe that this would be a good time to start working on a Business Plan. 
Don't know how this gem got overlooked - excellent look ahead and commentary on a mind set that could destroy the property managers - I mean REO agents - business when the market finally returns to "normal".

As a recent transplant from Gilbert Arizona, I found myself searching for New Homes for Sale in San Diego California. I would do searches on the major search engines only to find a massive number of sites that were only trying to capture my personal contact information and then provide me a glimpse or a sample of what I was really looking for. As a consumer, I found this very frustrating.

WOW. Some big changes are on the horizon with conventional loan underwriting. The goal of course is to increase home ownership at a level that is affordable. While that is the goal of these changes, they might not be accomplishing it completely. Especially when you look at the changes in qualifying for a mortgage if you've had a foreclosure. While these changes are happening in a few weeks, it doesn't mean that they are going to go into effect with all lenders immediately. Joe gets this exactly right. When we refer a client to a home inspector or other service provider, we take extra care to make sure that person is worthy of our referrals - because our credibility is riding on how well they perform, as is theirs. Why on earth would we want to risk the biggest asset we have - our reputation. 
My Soul Sista' Susan knocks this one outta the park! This is exactly how I feel... buyers work with me (or you) because they WANT to which'll keep 'em more loyal than any piece of paper signed under duress ever will. How do you make them WANT to? BE a great real estate agent who knows her stuff, who shows up and who cares about her clients. It really (really) is that simple. We just try to muck it all up.
