In selling a home, we should also let other people (especially prospective buyers) get the same home sweet home experience we had. Here is the first action you should do to have a good move in selling a Bradenton home is

Essential House Selling Tips: Don't Curb a Buyer's Enthusiasm - 11:03 PM
Before listing your home, some real estate agents will tell you to work on the outside of the house first, but unless there is a major project involved, or your in a hurry to list, it is probably best to save the outside for last. There are two main reasons for this. First, the first steps in preparing the interior of the house are easier. They also help develop the proper mind set required for selling - beginning to think of your "home" as a marketable commodity. Second, the exterior is the most important. A home buyer’s first impression is based

Spiro's Deli ~ Glenview, IL - 01:04 PM
Few days ago I had to have my second Spiro's hot Italian Original Bomber with Hot Beef, Cheese, Pickles & Onions. I went to Spiro's by the recommendation of a Glenview business owner. He was amazed that I have not been at the Spiro's yet. I did not need to read any of the online reviews, before so I was curios and had to read them. There are some mixed reviews on the web. They do start with 3 stars. My question is 3 stars compered to what? I would not take a star away because it is a cash only

Private Mortgage Insurance Basics - 04:04 AM
Keep in mind that when you buy a home and don't have 20 percent down, you may be required to pay for private mortgage insurance (PMI). PMI gives homebuyers the ability to buy a home with as little as three to five percent down. It also provides loan servicers assurance that, should your mortgage go into default and your home is foreclosed upon, the loan will be paid for. Those are the advantages, but there is a dark side to PMI. A good example of this involves a recent bout Bank of America experienced with the Massachusetts Attorney General's office.

Health Insurance Puzzle - 04:15 AM
Providing private health insurance for a family can seem like an intimidating task. The cost of health insurance is one of the factors that can keep would-be entrepreneurs and small business owners from taking the plunge. First, there is the search for a healthcare provider. Next, comes all the cost considerations, from monthly premiums to co-pays. Providing health care for loved ones is a necessary obligation. The reality is that it only takes one health catastrophe to cause a family's financial ruin. A good place to start is with understanding the lingo. What is the difference between an

Seabright Beach Santa Cruz home for everyone - 02:05 PM
Was thinking about the eastside of Santa Cruz the other day as I drove around. We have an area called Seabright. Santa Cruz was once a smaller town with a bunch of little communites connected by trails or roads and eventually in the later 1800 by rail. The area has some great beach cottages and other neat looking homes by the water. I particularly like these old Craftsman style homes. There are quite a wide variety of Seabright Beach Cottages. They vary in price from somewhat expensive to very expensive. Quality costs in the beginning but is cheap over time.

When Bob Stewart calls "ollie ollie oxen free" - 09:02 AM
When the ActiveRain servers are set and Bob Stewart calls "ollie ollie oxen free" will you come running back? It's a PollDaddy poll. You can vote. The ActiveRain haters* will. You can comment on PollDaddy. I don't think you can here. I can't. Apologies if "ollie ollie oxen free" sounds foreign. I think it is. Or if "ollie, ollie oxen free" is not a phrase you know... but if the game of hide and seek that the ActiveRain servers have been playing for some time ceases... are you coming back? Or are you off to the next ActiveRain or a

Your opinion on buying leads or paying referral fee? - 10:17 AM
We all have been approached with the number of different company's trying to sell us "Exclusive" leads. But as we all know they may be exclusive for the first 5 minutes if that before being sold to the next person. Then the wonderful cost starting anywhere from $25-$200 if not more. Not to mention the close ratio on buying leads is somewhere between 2-8% not very good turn around for your dollar and time. On the other aspect if another person in another state has a lead and refers it to use and closes we can offer up between 25-35% of

Who Inspires YOU? - 12:15 PM
Last week was a fantastic week of connecting with amazing women. For three wonderful days, I attended Bernice Ross's Awesome Females in Real Estate (AFIRE) conference in Scottsdale and then my friend and national trainer extraordinaire, Amy Chorew, came for the weekend! I am so grateful and fortunate to have such inspirational women in my life. I believe it is important to surround yourself with people who elicit the best from you, who energize you and who model what you want to evolve into! Here's some of what I learned this week: @KellyWhite CFO of www.GoodLifeTeam.com shared their progressive company's "Constellation"

Realtor Marketing Disenfranchises Home Owners Who Want to KEEP Their Homes! - 01:54 PM
Early this week Realtor Magazine Online published an article, "Fannie Adds Incentive to Avoid Foreclosure." I found myself chiding a Realtor who published the link to a Facebook page with a comment describing the plan as a step to helping homeowners keep their homes. Deed in lieu of foreclosure and short sales do NOT help homeowners keep their homes. They are NOT home retention solutions! It is shocking to me that a Realtor does not understand this distinction in 2010. Sadder yet is marketing to distressed homeowners with a focus on short sales and nary an eye to home retention.

DON'T PULL THE PLUG ON ACTIVERAIN. I'm no expert, but. . . . - 08:10 PM
DON'T PULL THE PLUG ON ACTIVERAIN. I'm no expert, but. . . . I just read a blog post from a member who suggested that ActiveRain take the web site down until the server migration is complete and the technical difficulties fixed. I DISAGREE! I understand the angst suffered by all. There's a possibility that some members will leave and never return. BEEN THERE, DONE THAT!!! Over the years since publishing Homefinders.com for the first time in July, 1995, I've changed host companies about 4-5 times. Each time the sites were down for from 1 to 11 days (major migration problems). On
