I Think I figured Out Your Keywords for Your SEO Strategy - 09:51 AM
WARNING. This is a bit sarcastic.
I just can't help it. It's early and I'm feeling testy.
But I'm pretty proud of myself, after reading several articles last night by people I read occasionally but don't follow.
I figured out the keywords they were using for what I assume is their SEO strategy. Cleverly designed, the articles ought to rank right up their in terms of keyword usage...just the sort of thing Google might like.
I can't for the life of me figure out what any consumer would really get out of the article, nor would they be interested in knowing more … (129 comments)

YIKES!  No, no I'm different! I don't look like all the rest! BLAH BLAH BLAH
YIKES is right! Let's face it, hearing that you "all look alike" isn't going to help when you are trying to sell a Vacant/NAKED … (91 comments)

Winter Is Brutal On Your Pocketbook - Energy Saving Tips - 07:49 PM
Winter Is Brutal On Your Pocketbook - Energy Saving Tips

The groundhog didn't see his shadow today in the Springfield area......which means we should have an early spring.  Until then, our weather is brutally cold.
Our office remains closed today, but we continued to work from our homes.  So far, there's been no phone calls about broken pipes or power outages.
Winter is very hard our our pocketbooks when it comes to heating the house.  I'm lucky enough to have a Cozy Heat Fireplace.  We only use it on very cold occasions.
For those of you that want to … (8 comments)

Agents need to know how to do short sales or they possibly could fail- - 01:41 PM
I just read an interesting article as to why many short sales fail.  I always like to try to deal with an agent who is representing the seller that I know.  Typically, if I know an agent and have worked with them in the past, I know how they operate.  This means whether or not they actually do their job etc.  It has been noted that most banks can tell if the agents submitting packages to them for short sales really know or don't know what they are doing by the presentations of their packages.  And...guess what? If the package is … (4 comments)

The Prediction is that 2011 is going to be worse this year for foreclosures! - 03:09 PM
The prediction is that 2011 is going to be the worst year yet for foreclosures.  There are so many homeowners right now that are behind on their payments.  I read an article from Realytrac that the numbers are close to 5 million homeowners who are behind in their payments.Realtytrac predicts 1.2 million more homes will be taken back.  This number is up from 2010 which was 1 million homes.  People are losing their jobs and are having a hard time refinancing due to the more stringent guidelines that the lenders are imposing.  California leads in the numbers of foreclosures to other … (2 comments)

I know It's Nothing New, But The Government Wants To Take Away Our Mortgage Interest Tax Deduction! - 03:15 PM
It appears that Obama really wants to put a stop to the mortgage interest tax deduction.  Why?  I have no idea as it does help every homeowner with their taxes.   The National Association of Home Builders wants to help protect this deduction.  There are other entities that want to protect this as well and they are working to do this too.  We all need to come together to help put a stop to this.  We all need tax deductions and this is a major one. This has been a major concern for the government to cut for a while now.  But … (2 comments)
