How can Tax supported Government Agencies like HUD, VA, FHA and Fannie Mae Discriminate Against Real Estate Companies?  I have been a real estate agent for over 28 years. In the past the VA and other tax payer supported agencies would list foreclosure property on an OPEN LISTING (Every real estate firm that was registered with the agency could market and sell the property and who ever made the sale received the full commission). But now, these agencies list their Foreclosed properties with only one or possibly 2 selected Real Estate companies. In my area, HUD has listed all their Repos in a 3 … (2 comments)

Maine Land Is Always Low Cost, Like The Other Real Estate We List, Peddle, Sell. - 08:31 AM
Maine is 91% wooded, and Aroostook County has 11 people per square mile so you know what that means ... lots of low of low cost ME land, property.
Not only is the price low, the quantity of what you get at the Maine property buffet is large.
Won't ever let you leave hungry.
We get amazement at the Maine real estate low property prices.
The reaction is like giving a small child a hundred dollar bill and leading them by the hand in to a candy store.

The malware to remove Zeus and an overall tightening up of your Internet activities on line means keeping up with changes in how information is gotten on line and used against you.  
The playing field for Internet crime has changed. Not just a pesky simple virus bug bite. But more elaborate schemes raising havoc and severe damage to people's lives. A little over a year ago I posted an interesting question "What if there was a simple fix to the short sale fiasco...what am I missing?"  This post has had my highest amount of reader traffic to date at right around 4000 clicks.
A year has gone by and I'm sad to say that nothing on my "what if" wish list has come true.  Oh...the HAFA Program made a lot of promises that gave me hope, but I haven't seen it working in my area.

It must be Spring, Baseball Season is about to begin!It sure doesn't feel like it in Central Maryland. Despite the chilly temps in the North with a possibility of snow, it will still not hinder the start of the 2011 Major League Baseball season.

The Circus is coming......has come to town. The Ringling Brothers & Barnum & Bailey Circus has arrived in Baltimore and will be performing until April 10th at the 1st Mariner Arena It may have been a miserable rainy night in Baltimore, but the music and the sparkle made everyone forget the weather. Gardening with native plants - 08:08 AM
We went to an evening at Penn State Great Valley Campus in Malvern. It was a talk about using native plants in your garden by Ray Murphy, Pennsylvania Certified Horticulturalist and Master Gardener from Nemours Gardens in Wilmington Delaware. Now I am all for doing that, although I have to admit, not fanatically so, but as much as you can.
What I han't realised is that native plants will support much , much more animal life and insects (for the birds and bats) than exotics.
