When I was in my youth, someone once asked, "Are you hearing me, or are you listening?" It was probably a parent, teacher or coach. I can't recall, so I must have heard them, and not been listening as well as well as I should. But I did *hear* them well enough, to get the point. If you're anything like me, you give clients great information all the time. Hopefully, most of the time they listen, but inevitably, the sometimes just hear it, and it goes in one ear and out the other.
