  In business, many folks wonder if there really IS such a thing as “Win-Win”
After all, “Business” always has some level of competitive undertone even if not ostensible. There’s just one pie, and we’re all in business to get our “Fair Share” . . .
Having said that, how is it a “Win-Win” for a seasoned Professional to take a newbie under her wing as an Apprentice – Intern – Mentee?

Glass bottomed boat for vacationers in Silver Springs FLA. - 03:10 PM

 
Florida has always been a vacationer's paradise.  Wonder if they still have boats with glass bottoms so you can see what's in the water.  This old picture shows a boatload of visitors.  It was in a little folder frame and I'm guessing that as soon as you got off the boat you could buy the souvenir picture.

Yesterday was the anniversary of my mother Judy Carr's death. She was a real estate legend in Silicon Valley and the dominant agent for decades in the Cupertino Schools area of San Jose Lynbrook High School home sales. But what I remember is her as a mother. Praying Mantis - 12:12 PM
This morning when I went outside on the porch to enjoy my coffee I had a visitor on the underside of the arm of the chair.  This very large Praying Mantis was looking for a breakfast of it's own. It was about 7 inches long and appeared as if could eat whatever bug it wanted.  I am just glad that they don't get to 7 feet long or I may have been it's breakfast.  I am surprised that one of the birds in the yard did not have it for it's breakfast.
