Pick a box, any box... You have many choices and that is how my clients felt when looking at condos the other day. So, do you listen to the "EXPERTS" who say never show more than 3 properties in a day or do you show them all and write an offer? You can get what I did can't you?

hunting for buried treasure on the Oregon Coast - 05:35 PM

The Oregon Coast, what a great place to find burried treasure! Now, not all the treasure is gold as my son soon found out, but hey, you never know what you are going to find. He found a lot more nails from pallets that were burned during campfires than gold, but he never did give up!

Crofton MD Armed Forces Day Parade - 04:44 AM
Crofton Parkway was crowded with residents and visitors yesterday for the Annual Armed Forces Day Parade. The weather could not have been more perfect for the mile and a half trip from Crofton Woods Elementary to Crofton Elementary School.Current military, and veterans were honored during the parade. Several local Crofton politicians came out to greet their constituents as well. The bands, as usual, were in perfect marching form.

Hey all, I'm totally booked solid this weekend showing homes to some great folks here in the Raleigh, Cary, Apex area. But I did have a few minutes late last night for some "me" time.

 
While "me" time is not a pretty sight, it is inspirational!
So, while playing around with Photoshop, listening to some music, and watching whatever sports were on TV, I came up with this little bit of silliness...
I call this one, "My Kingdom for a Real Estate Craig Bobble Head Doll"!!!

Memorial Day Celebration in Coral Springs, Florida - 06:21 AM
Please join the City of Coral Springs for a special Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 28 at 9 a.m., in honor of the brave men and women of our military who have given their lives in service to our nation.
The Ceremony will be at Veterans Park, located at 8601 Royal Palm Boulevard (just east of University Drive). For more information, call 954-345-2200.

Lacrosse is a favorite sport in Catonsville! - 12:06 PM
Ah - lacrosse season in Baltimore County!  I didn't grow up around here but have learned how HUGE this sport is in Maryland.  The Catonsville High School girl’s team just won the County championship by the way! Many of my son's friends started playing this spring in the Catonsville Lacrosse Recreation Clinic.  The games are often played on the fields at Hillcrest Elementary.  
Catonsville also has a Soft Stick Program for 3-5 year olds.  They use a soft lacrosse ball so they don’t need all the equipment to start playing the sport!

Great Catonsville Playground in Rollingwood Neighborhood - 06:04 PM
Catonsville has a number of great little playgrounds tucked away!  A recent discovery for us is the Rollingwood Park on Devere which cuts between Frederick Road and Old Frederick Road near Westchester Elementary. This playground is special for its' appeal to younger kids - including 2 kiddie basket swings (and 2 regular swings), a small plastic slide and ladder, and a cool race car on a spring big enough for several kids to play in.
Even young walkers can be helped on to these play areas.  For the older kids, there is a larger area with several slides and options for climbing.

Sometimes I would ask my assistant to check the units for sale in a particular condo-hotel, and she would give me the number, and then, I go on MLS and my number is different. It is because of the way we search. She goes by the name of the condo and checks “Condotel” in MLS. I search by the addresses. Half of the time the results are different. For example, today 6 out of 13 condo-hotels have each one listing, which is not showing up in a “condotel” search. Many agents mark them in MLS as “Condos”. So, if you search … (11 comments)

Frequently Asked Question: Why I Can’t Just Bring A Cashier’s Check To Closing - 05:52 PM
We have a Closing for a condo-hotel studio on the beach scheduled for Thursday, and when I tell the Buyer that they would need to wire the money to the Closing Attorney, she said that she would bring a cashier’s check. And when I tell her that she would have to wire money, she is asking me why can’t she simply bring the cashier’s check? The agent called me at 9:30 in the evening on Sunday, just couple of hours ago. She apologized for calling so late, but she said she desperately needed the exact Association Dues figure for the property that her buyer has under contract with my Seller. OK, I have my laptop with me, so it is not a problem. I gave her the amount. She called back in 5 minutes and asked for the exact amount of taxes. I delved into the Property Appraiser site and calculated the taxes based on the taxable value and knowing the millage rate.
