How I Got Into Real Estate by Debi Braulik - 11:11 AM
How I Got Into Real Estate by Debi Braulik. This kind of feels like an essay from grade shool however since I have been asked this by a couple of clients in the last few months and I was tasked to write this post, here's the long version! :) When I was a small child I was always fascinated by houses. I remember pointing special houses out my parents as we drove by them. Even then I especially loved the Craftsman and Victorian homes. Fast forward a few years and my love of animals took over. I was going to be a (6 comments)
Homework - Why I Got Into Real Estate - 11:18 AM
I have to admit, I hadn't checked the "Action Items" until today. Why? I don't really know for sure. Probably because what we were learning, seemed such a review to me. And then today, on the class about links, it clicked. So I wrote my week 2 blog post about how I got into real estate and posted it for the world to see. :0) If you would like to read it, here's my post- How I Got Into Real Estate by Debi Braulik. Thanks Bob & Kerrie. Debi (0 comments)
My 2012 ActiveRain Goals - 12:58 PM
My 2012 Activerain Goals- This is my year to get back to AR with regularity and consistency. I've been struggling these last four years because I had a baby and my husband has had 2 major surgeries. Finding time to dedicate to AR has scarce to say the least. Now I have a written business plan on it that says I plan on getting 12 closings this year from the Web. I already have a good lead capture website (Market Leader through KW) and now I need to get back to blogging. When I blogged regularly in the past I got clients/closings (3 comments)
Guns Don't Kill People, Home Buyers With Guns Kill People - 06:40 AM
You might be wondering about the real estate market in Sacramento. The truth is it's way better to be a seller in Sacramento right now than to be a buyer. But that doesn't mean if you're a seller and a buyer that you're hosed. Be happy that you're not living in New Delhi where the monkeys are running wild in the streets, biting people and snatching bags from people's hands. Authorities have trapped something like 13,000 monkeys since 2007. Although I can certainly see the comparison to home buying and selling in Sacramento. It's a crazy market. Too bad we can't (5 comments)

Buying a Home in Maryland? . . Welcome to Harsh Reality! - 06:47 PM
http://www.ReallyNiceHomes.com Maryland, DC and VA Really Nice Homes Looking for a really nice home? These days, buyers may have the upper hand when it comes to buying, but your time is almost up. Our buyer agents are competing fiercely out there to get a contracts ratified for our buyer clients. even in the surprisingly strong market the shift is slowly being delegated to the sellers. Take for example the Urbana Frederick real estate market. Properties that were out of reach for a lot of people are now becoming affordable to buyers lucky enough to have the cash and credit to make their dreams come true. However, (3 comments)
Judi, I have a client that inherited 40 acres from her grandmother. The Grandmother passed away about 5 years ago and it's become evident that they are not going to move to McCurtain County from Illinois. They want to sell the land. Would you be interested in a referral on this client? The legal description is Township xx Section 35 and Range xx and is in the name of Mary Jones. Tom Smith I signed the referral agreement and was sent the contact info for Mary Jones. Mary's land is land locked. (13 comments)
History has shown us that Phoenix short sales were typically sold at higher prices than a lender owned property. This has been slowly changing over the last six months and has now reversed itself. Phoenix Lender Owned homes as if April of 2012 are now more expensive to buy than a short sale. The median price for Lender owned properties was $70.72 per square foot as compared to only $67.13 per square foot for short sales.
So what does this mean to Phoenix home buyers? For one it means that (20 comments)
