Will the seller complete lender required repairs in a Maryland trustee sale? Trustee sales are foreclosure auctions that take place at the county court houses in Maryland. The properties are sold in as-is condition and access is not available until after settlement and possession is obtained. The sellers are not concerned with any financing issues that may be experienced by purchasers. Properties in the foreclosure process tend to have deferred maintenance (12 comments)

The main Menlo Park Library is Closed. - 07:23 PM
The main library in Menlo Park, CA is closed. I can see the headline now! But the truth is the main library in Menlo Park, CA is closed for renovations. The front desk is being remodeled, a radio frequency identification (RFID) system is being installed and new carpeting will be laid down. I'm sure the person who was behind me when I was trying to check myself out of the library a few months ago will be thrilled to know there is a new system. I'm hoping this new RFID system will be easier to figure out than the old (0 comments)

How To Protect Yourself From a "Home Energy Score" - 05:00 PM
For over a year, the U. S. Department of Energy has been working hard to create enthusiasm for the idea of having home's "scored" on a scale of 1 to 10 for energy efficiency. Originally scheduled to roll out in October of 2011, the program looks as if it might finally be implemented late this year or early in 2013. In its original form and the way it appears on paper, it's not a bad idea. Home owners get to see how efficient (or inefficient) their home is presently performing as compared to other homes of its type and are encouraged (0 comments)

If you have had another offer before, the BPO has been done, the financial information turned in and the (0 comments)
