Out of curiosity I am constantly clicking on real estate stories found scrolling on the headline cubicles running across MSN and Yahoo!  I read them because most of them are full of so much HOOEY!
Today I read another "what you need to be doing" article written by Melinda Fulmer:  "What You Should Know Before Bidding on that House."
In "Googling" Melinda Fulmer, I could not discern if she's a real estate agent or a Realtor®

Back in 2005, I was introduced to the Chautaqua Winery in Defuniak Springs, Florida by our Office Manager. She would order cases of their Muscadine Wine and have custom labels made with her contact information. I started doing this also and used them as closing gifts. They made for a very unique gift and I received a lot of positive feedback about the label.

Recently, my book group read The Paris Wife, Paula McLain's novel about Earnest Hemingway's first wife, Hadley, and their time in Paris.  We also read The Sun Also Rises, which Hemingway wrote during that period.  
Friday, my next door neighbor brought over her DVD of Midnight in Paris, and we watched it with a third book buddie.  The scenes of Paris are just amazing, and made me want to start packing now for my September trip.  Since I do have to wait a few days, I checked into I-Photo and revisited some of the shots I took … (12 comments)

This Is My 5th Anniversary on Active Rain - 08:04 PM
On June 10th, 2007 I wrote my very first post on Active Rain, The Joys of Home Ownership.  I just took a look at it, and there is this adorable picture of Willie the Labradoodle as a six month old puppy who saved us from mayhem by alerting me to a pipe burst (right over his crate).  And after I posted it, something happened!  Comments!  The first was from Crofton, Maryland's Margaret Woda, who has since become a great friend.
This was the first step down a path of learning, new friendships and addiction.

During Tuesday’s June 5 meeting of the Miami-Dade Commission, plans were unveiled for Trump Studio City, an ambitious 800 acre film studio.  The Donald is attempting to recreate Hollywood studios in Homestead.
The vision for this project is a massive studio city that would range in studio size from 25,000 square feet to 250,000 square feet. With 15-20 acre back lots that really handle any type of movie
