Safari Anyone? You Can, and Never have to Leave California! - 11:18 AM
The San Diego Zoo Safari Park is so Cool!

What used to be the San Diego Wild Animal Park is now Safari Park.  What a great idea too, you can spend the night, and camp out with the animals in your backyard.  It's called the Roar and Snore Safari.  The campground overlooks the park's African Plains exhibit, where you can see so many different wild animals such as: gazelles, rhinos, giraffes, antelope.
The safari's are offered year round and with different themes.  You bring your own sleeping bag and sleep in their tents.  You get to have a after-hours look … (2 comments)

Route 66 Road Trip ~ At Disneyland!! - 11:33 AM
I've found some more fun family things to do this summer!  The greatest thing....they are all so close to home!  This June at our own beloved Disneyland, they are going to open a 12 acre town.  I bet you know which one too!  Radiator Springs, from the movie CARS.  How fun does that sound!

The town is nestled in Ornament Valley, a 280,000 square foot mountain range, just like in the movie.  They flew in artists from all over the world to hand paint and sculpt the backdrop.  Some came from Japan, Ireland and even Hungary and France.  WoW!

By now, you should be well aware of how important a business page is on the internet.  If you don't have your real estate business listed on Google, Yahoo and/or Bing, you're behind the times.  Of course, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn are also great places to create business listings as well as interact with your peers and potential … (0 comments)

Photowalking in the Kentlands Community in Gaithersburg, MD - 10:51 AM
Photowalking in the Kentlands Community in Gaithersburg, MD
Photowalking through the community is a good way to take a close look at the spring flowers and to benefit from the exercise at the same time.  I am also seeing a lot of sold signs as buyers select this neo-traditional community as their preferred location.
When you are considering a home purchase, I recommend walks through the areas you are considering.  Walking will always provide a better perspective than a quick drive by in the area.
Have an outstanding week and be sure to have your camera in hand to capture the … (24 comments)

The Amazing Impact of a Thank You Card in Real Estate - 01:48 PM
Using Thank You Cards in Real Estate "The magic of a Thank You card is that just about everyone who receives it reads it."
Toronto real estate professional and ActiveRain blogger Rich Gaasenbeek reminds us of the importance of hand written thank you cards.
"Don’t be tempted to send a card with a cookie-cutter message. It will come across as insincere. Take the time to write a personal message, in your own handwriting."

I May Be Small But I Have Attitude - 02:07 PM

For some reasons sand crabs fascinate me.  They are always watching not only for the large humans close by but for prey coming at them from above or other crab invaders.  Almost every day they have to start digging again after the tide wipes out their carefully dug holes.
I give two thumbs up to these little guys for their take no prisoners attitude.

Thinking About Buying A Springfield VA Home? Commuting Options Are A Big Consideration - 03:19 PM
No one will dispute that the phrase "Location, Location, Location" is just as important today when it comes to buying a new home than it every was.  For home buyers considering Springfield VA as the place to live the location is hard to beat.  One of the reason Springfield has been one of the areas of choice for home buyers for over 60 years is the number of commuting options available for home buyers.  Located 20 miles south of Washington DC, Springfield offers home buyers not only the Metro but a commuter rail station, multiple park and ride lots and slug … (12 comments)

FHA Loans and Your Danbury CT Condo - 02:37 PM

One of the ways you can become a homeowner is getting an FHA loan. With FHA, you could get a mortgage for as low as 3.5%. In order to verify the condo complex is FHA approved, you can check on the HUD website and search by town.
Here is the link!

If the complex is not FHA approved, which is the case for overwhelming majority of  townhomes in the Danbury area did lose their FHA certification, there are alternative mortgage products available. The standards for conventional loans or programs geared toward first time buyers are a little bit different than what … (0 comments)

Be Nice - 10:41 AM
In sometimes-complicated relationships between residents and their condo or homeowner associations, neighborly love can go only so far.  When it comes to association decorum, the more you know about the CC&Rs (covenants, conditions and restrictions), the better.  It’s the homeowner’s job to reinforce these governing rules and regulations, which can easily pit residents against association members.  Here are a few hot-button issues that, according to Realty Times and Condobenefits.com, are important to keep in mind:
Pets.  Many condominiums restrict the permitted size and number of pets, if they allow them at all.  Check in with the head of the association before … (1 comments)
