If you’ve been in the business for as long as I have (26+ years) and was not a “numbers” kind of realtor it is very hard to adopt a new train of thought. You have to understand, believe and know that you run a business. It is yours and you need to know it. If you have goals and you’re trying to reach them you need to know how to get there. It took my Broker (Michael Balsitis) to speak that into me and I’m seeing the change(s) already.

Here's a good, quick and informative post about credit scores and credit reports.  This question comes up quite a bit when I'm dealing with home buyers, and there is a differnce between the site advertised on TV and getting your legally mandated free credit report which is allowed once a year.

The real estate flier that you put in the flyer box is your friend.  It is worth the effort...
Nowadays, there are plenty of homes without them, mainly due to the fact that a lot of REO agents don't want to mess with a flyer. Also, I see some agents do not keep the box full, perhaps because the house is vacant so the owner does not fill it up (it is not the owner's JOB!) so nobody is maintaining that aspect of the listing.

 Mortgage rates continue to set new record lows, as the Federal Reserve reported that economic activity expanded at a moderate pace across its 12 districts. The following are excerpts from the newsletter on interest rates published by HSH Associates :
