The Hernando County Sheriff's Office hosted its annual Bowling Extravaganza last weekend to raise funds for the nonprofit Youth Education Services (YES).
It's always a fun event that members of the Rotary Club of Spring Hill, Florida, have participated in for many years. This year, the team received active support from members of the Rotary Interact Club of Springstead High School.

Opening Day at the Del Mar Racetrack tomorrow celebrates it's 75th year. Back in 1937, Bing Crosby was there on it's first opening day to greet the fans. Hats and finery will be the standard attire for opening day at Old Del Mar where the surf meets the turf.
A lot has changed over the years but what hasn't changed is the same exciting atmosphere enhanced for larger crowds and facilities that make Old Del Mar one of the premier racetracks in existence today.

These sold Condominiums range in price from a low of $215,000 for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 1,028 square foot property located on Moorsview street, and the high price was $353,000 for a 4 bedroom, 3 bath, 1,470 SqFt home situated on Eastridge street. The Median price of the 13 Condos that have sold is $235,000 and the Average Price per Square Foot for these Sold condominiums was $232. N.Y. Issued 20,958 Tickets for Texting While Driving During Past Year - 04:43 AM
law enfolaw enforcement officials issued 20,958 tickets to motorists for texting-while-driving violations since the law took effect on July 12, 2011 — which is four times as many than the previous year.
The law put in place by state lawmakers and signed by the governor last year makes using a handheld electronic device for activities such as texting-while-driving a primary traffic offense — giving law enforcement the power to stop motorists solely for engaging in this activity.

We could end it right there, but for the fact that in the middle of the most closely-watched housing recovery in history, the sheer number of monthly and quarterly home price reports has proliferated to the point of almost weekly readings.
