It is estimated that about 10,000 injuries requiring emergency room visits occur each year in or around the 30 day period of July 4th, commonly known as Independence Day. The statistics have held true since I was a kid. The "legal" aspect of what we could blow up back in those days and what is proper now varies greatly. Today, if it leaves the ground, flies or explodes with a bang it's illegal in most (8 comments)

one more law penalizing in-activity - 06:02 AM
Below is an excerpt from a Hamden Patch news report about new CT state laws that went into effect on July 1st 2012. I doubt this is the law in it's entirety and I have not read the law other than waht is stated below but it seems that the CT is following the lead of this federal legislature and penalizing people found to not do something; and be aware you must be caught inspecting not remedying any found issues that I am sure is for some state union marine safe water and boating remediation team. "Boat owners are now responsible for (5 comments)
