Saturday's Photos...The Dangers of Fire... - 11:03 AM
We had a fire that caused a great scare in our community a few days ago.  I drove by and took some photos, some I had to take while driving down Interstate 15, and to be honest, I didn't realize how much my windows needed to be cleaned.  This fire was determined to be human caused, but in honestly this was one that I would call an honest accident, an overheated water well pump ignited and flashed to the dry grasses.  Anyway here are some photos that I took earlier this week.

If You're Doing a Bank of America HAFA Short Sale You Have My Empathy - 07:21 AM
A third-party vendor for a Bank of America short sale called yesterday to request HUD #15. It's also getting close to the expiration date of the short sale listing. It's rare that short sales drag on this long. In this particular case, it's been almost a year. I take my short sale listings for a 12-month period, but not because it will take that long because it generally does not. Most of my short sales get approved within 3 to 4 months.

Lake Bluff's June Property sales were 19, down -20.8% from 24 in June of 2011 and 35.7% higher than the 14 sales last month. June 2012 sales were at a mid level compared to June of 2011 and 2010. June YTD sales of 58 are running -7.9% behind last year's year-to-date sales of 63.
The Median Sales Price in June was $410,000, down -15.8% from $487,000 in June of 2011 and up 59.5% from $257,000 last month. The Average Sales Price in June was $451,486, down -42.2% from $780,725 in June of 2011 and up 46.4% from $308,321 last month. June … (0 comments)

If you have an analysis bent to you or are just gifted with plain being a smart one it can become a hindrance to the extent you let it in both your business and personal life. Be aware of this and try not to OVERTHINK things, cause it bogs you down in two ways.
1) Analysis-Paralysis. You look for ALL options before moving forward and sit on the fence like a FOREVER amount of time before taking action. Not good in writing a business plan and not executing it, deciding what to do tomorrow, or next week, picking ONE THING or … (9 comments)
