Foreclosure Prevention Bill Becomes Law - 04:18 AM
Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick signed a bill into law Friday to help prevent homeowners from unnecessary foreclosures if they are eligible for loan modifications.
The compromise version of the bill, “An Act Preventing Unlawful and Unnecessary Foreclosures,” requires the bank to send notice to the borrower at risk of foreclosure about their right to pursue a modified mortgage loan. A copy of this letter will go to the Attorney General Martha Coakley’s office.
The borrower must then respond to the bank within 30 days on whether they will pursue the loan modification, another alternative to foreclosure such as a short sale or deed in … (0 comments)

I came across these back and forth while reading online. The article is about Obama not taking questions from the White House press corps for seven straight weeks. Funny thing that, when Romney was overseas, the press complained about him not taking questions, but not recognizing the fact that there was a press conference.
With the seventh week of not taking questions, the press corps is truly silent. The comments after articles, more often than not tell you whether the readers are left or right leaning.
