ZILLOW SUES TRULIA - 03:37 AM
HA! Zillow suing Trulia. Almost too funny for words. AVMs, as Conrad correctly points out, are worthless, in terms of accuracy. Yet, the real estate industry pushes these things to MLSs, BORs, Agents/Brokers on a regular basis. Sadly, the MLSs and BORs are the biggest dupes. Of course they are always looking for products and services to SELL TO AGENTS AND BROKERS. With their high Google ranking, they will sell advertising. That's their job. Accuracy is not. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Via Webster, Ma Conrad Allen, Realtor (Re/Max Professional Asociates): Talk about much ado over nothing. Zillow is suing Trulia over home valuations. Allegedly Trulia (20 comments)

Other than that, my first client EVER got a hold of me to tell me she referred a friend to me. Gotta love that! I'm watching Nine Inch Nails on Youtube (4 comments)

Protect Your Blog, Your Reputation & Your Pocketbook! - 07:30 AM
Protect Your Blog, Your Reputation & Your Pocketbook! Your blog is a projection of yourself. We (and the consumers) read it and we form opinions of you. This person is a good agent/stager/mortgage professional/inspector and we'll call them when we have business in their area OR they'll be ice skating in Hell before I call that person!Us personally, we'll tend to give someone the benefit of the doubt (most times) when there's some perceived transgression, especially if it's apparent they're new to blogging. But the bloggers need to do their part to protect themselves too. Aging-in-Place- Myths and Mythbusters - 07:04 PM
Aging-in-Place- The Real Story So much can grow out of life experiences - especially if they are accentuated by events of the 60s. Many of us -approximately 90 Million in 2012, now somewhere between the ages of 50-to-80-or so, given those events, are not settling for life after retirement as lived by our parents. Instead, we fearlessly cheer for aging beautifully and well- complementary and alternative medicine, and for innovative trends in our "At Last Homes" that utilize beautiful universal design features, and for multi-generational solutions, and for the economic power we possess- (especially women). . ..( I'm just sayin')...and (10 comments)

The speaker for the Middlesex County Chamber Of Commerce Monthly Breakfast this month is outgoing Connecticut Senator Joseph Lieberman. After many years of representing Connecticut in Washington, and several years before that as Connecticut's Attorney General, Senator Lieberman is stepping down to enjoy some of his retirement years. I did not always agree with Senator Lieberman, but he served Connecticut as well if not better than others that we have sent to Washington. He certainly served us better than Senator Christopher Dodd. The Middlesex County Chamber Of Commerce Monthly Breakfast will be held at the same location that it (1 comments)

A friend of mine shared some information about two military support groups that send out cards and care packages to our troops in just those places to give them a little bit of home for the holidays. These groups are volunteer groups and you can help them in achieving their goals. 1. The South (9 comments)
