Foreclosure Inventory Drops and Buyers Frustrated at less to choose from! - 08:33 AM
I came across two interesting articles today – One titled REO Inventory Posts Big Drop from a Year Ago and the other is Buyers Frustrated at Lack of Inventory.  I think these two certainly mirror the other and a direct reflection locally on our market.
Starting with the low REO inventory – which REO translates to Real Owned by a Bank.  This is not a short sale property where the seller is still on the deed – this is foreclosed property that the bank now owns and can sell as the seller.  Much confusion between the two, even 5 years later … (3 comments)

Speechless Sunday-Camping on Fishhawk Lake - 08:57 AM
Woke up this morning after a lively night of music being played at the clubhouse in celebration of a Fishhawk Lake member’s recent marriage and saw this boat on the lake, anchored.
 

 
 
 
Now, with the temperature being 44 degrees, I would hope that their sleeping bag is a really WARM one! (Talk about "getting away from it all")...
and as my husband said, if you owned a boat, lost your house, you could still literally "live on the lake"!

I always feel so blessed when one of my daughters has a birthday and we all get together. This last weekend, it was my daughter Rachel's 22nd birthday and it was made even more special by all of her cousins being able to make it to celebrate with us. One of the great things about living in Southern California is that we aren't limited to staycations but can still reach wonderful vacation locations without really going far.
I have been fascinated by the orcas (killer whales) since I was a child and first saw Shamu at Seaworld.  What amazing creatures, and what an amazing show.  Plus, they have all of the people there who can answer my children's inumerable questions about the animals.

If you are a landlord with rooms to fill, then there are plenty of creative ways to fill the rooms. Currently, there are about 40,000 or more students attending Arizona State University. Obviously, they do not have enough campus rooms to accommodate the students; Off campus housing is a must at ASU. So, I have learned some creative ways as a realtor to attract honest and dependable renters to fill vacancies. It is a numbers game. One has to get the message out to the public that rooms are available for rent.
