HUD OFFICES TO CLOSE NATIONWIDE ON FRIDAY, MAY 24 - 07:36 AM

I just got this in an email. HUD will be closed on 7 days through August 2013. I noticed that they are going to be closed for 1 day but you and I should expect an extra 2 days delay, above and beyond “normal” 2 – 3 day delay,  in receiving any requested action or information.

Working with my clients on a short sale, my first, and probably my last.  We have crossed all the t's, dotted all the i's and still we wait.  I connect with other REALTORS® to find out if they are having the same issues that I am, and find that no, they are not.  My negotiator is demanding no electronic signatures, this is a BofA short sale, and I am pretty sure they allowed electronic signatures a while back per their Electronic Signatures Reference Guide published in January of 2013.  Next thing he wants is lines removed from the HUD1.
