What great news, the Fullerton City Council was approved the construction of 36 single-family houses and 8 duplexes!
The duplexes will be two stories, and residences will include three and four bedroom units. The homes will be built of 3.4 acres just north of Valencia Drive and east of Independence Park. The project builder is the Olsen Company.

Fullerton Fun~ Library Card Design Contest! - 12:09 PM
Fullerton Library announced yesterday, that as part of the Summer Reading events, they will be hosting a new Library Card design contest. The winning cards will be included with the thousands of library cards that the Fullerton Public Library issues out each year.
The contest is open to all Fullerton library card holders. Children, teens and adults will have a chance to submit their original artwork for consideration simply by visiting the library and pick up an entry form, or find the form online at www.fullertonlibrary.org/contest.

The Washington Post reports that “Years after foreclosures, old debt haunts homeowners….Lenders are filing new motions in old foreclosure lawsuits and hiring debt collectors to pursue leftover debt, plus court fees, attorney’s fees and tens of thousands in interest that had been accruing for years.” – Kimbriell Kelly
After going through foreclosure, many families assume that the mortgage debt is satisfied as they focus on restoring their financial health. In Maryland, it appears that debt collectors have up to 36 years to pursue homeowners for amounts owed on deficiency judgments.
