After researching foreclosures in Florida, it was becoming quite obvious there was a huge problem.  I quickly found people willing to admit 80% did not have the legal grounds to foreclose.  Almost as quickly, from my beginning research, I could not find a case that had the full grounds to foreclose.  And still to this day, I have not seen a case where the proper legal grounds were met.  Obviously attorneys, with the assistance of the judges, were getting these foreclosure through the system, but they did NOT have the legal grounds to do so.  An attorney in Florida who … (6 comments)

I cannot tell you how often I am asked to back date.  I'm told it is no big deal, etc.  I'm told, you can do it because of this or that - with their own explanation why it is OK.  First off, it is a violation of Florida, and most if not all states laws.  There are NO loop-holes or exceptions on this one, what-so-ever.  Period.  Why?  Because it is fraud.  And while there are many responsibilities of being a notary, one of the primary duties of a notary is to PREVENT fraud.  I'm not naive to think that when I turn … (66 comments)
