Absolutely gorgeous weekend here in Pinehurst, NC!  Carolina blue sky, birds singing, squirrels playing, golfers golfing, people out 'n about EVERYWHERE I look....I LOVE IT!!!
Hopefully, one of the coldest winters on record is behind us and we can pack up the sweaters and dust off the flip flops.
Spent most of the afternoon yesterday walking my 2 pups around the Village and on the greenway trails.

Spending this afternoon working in the yard and preparing my garden area for the season.

sandhills: More SNOW in my BACKYARD than at the WINTER GAMES! - 02/13/10 07:18 AM
We had a beautiful snowfall here in Pinehurst last night!  It was a perfect backdrop while we watched the opening ceremonies for the Winter Games. 

One good thing about the Sandhills, we can say "Here today, Gone tomorrow"!!!  The snow is already starting to fall off the tree limbs this morning as I peer out the window while I drink my coffee.  I guess I better hurry up and go outside and build a snowman before it's GONE.
