I am a member of the Civil War Wanders from Stafford,Va and we had a great talk given to us in Richmond about the differences between Generals Lee and Grant. What a lecture!! The museum had a great display of orginal writtings from both Generals. Especially enlightening was the post war years and the part they played in restoring the union. The Virginia Historical Society did a great job in presenting the lecture and the displays. Has anyone else seen this lecture or visited the museum?

Interest rates remain stable which is good news for all buyers. A lot of foreclosures are being sold which is helping to reduce our large inventory of homes. Prices for homes continue to drop which should encourage the "fence post" buyer to make an offer. All these trends should plus the Federal Board actions should produce a good spring market.

Does everyone see what I see or am I just looking through rose colored glasses!!

I get tired of hearing my competitors "crying the blues" because of a soft real estate market. I try to look on the bright side--we have buyers and lots of inventory to sell. Interest rates remain good and now is the time to invest in ourselves with our time and money to make things happen. I am looking forward to a good 2008. Any comments?
