When Home Staging an occupied dwelling, you're often faced with many bumps in the road to overcome as a stager.  After a detailed analysis of the property, the Home Stager presents a proposal to the seller and Realtor of what needs to be changed to transform this property into a space buyers will want. 
What we faced:
    -  Fresh paint needed throughout
    -  All doors in house needed to be painted same color as walls     rather than mahogany 70's finished they had.

This is a re-blog of a Professional Home Stager in Portland, OR.  Although many Real Estate Agents understand the value of Home Staging, it illustrates a scenerio we often run in to here in the Phoenix area so I thought I'd pass it along.
We Home Stagers can save a home seller money.  Home Staging will never cost as much as the first price reduction.  Why not at least have a consultation with a Home Stager and learn how we can help.  Statistics prove it works!

Home sellers don't want a list of "Things To Do" handed to them by their Realtor. 
Instead they want to be engaged with a professional Home Stager who will show their property off in its best possible light. 

 
This shows them a Realtor who knows how to market their property.
