The Landscape Has Changed. If you haven't purchased and financed a home in the last four years you may be surprised at the changes in the mortgage approval process. Save yourself the anquish of finding and losing a home that you want due to lack of preparedness. Most listings will not even look at an offer unless a genuine pre-approval from a reputable source is provided with the offer.
