In January, the Houston Association of Realtors claimed that the 2010 Houston real estate market started with a, "mixed bag of readings, making it difficult to determine a clear direction for the months ahead."  Today, sites like Yahoo! real estate are showing that the prices for Houston homes for sale have increased by 1.9% from last month, indicating that the real estate market may be on a slow-but-steady upswing.

I'm a broker. Have been for around 20-years. I consider myself a fairly sharp guy who knows the real estate business pretty well. I know how to market my company and also know how to create opportunity for those who work around me. I'm self motivated, have a desire to succeed and to make money. With all that said, I wish to have real estate agents in my office who share my same desires and goals.

Economic Indicators and Houston Real Estate - 02/05/10 09:48 AM
The U.S. economy posted surprising numbers in the final quarter of 2009. According to government results, the economy grew by 5.7 percent, which marked the fastest pace since the third quarter of 2003 and surpassed expectations of a 4.5 percent boost.
According to a recent article published by USA Today, national economic adviser Christina Romer referred to the fourth-quarter output as "truly extraordinary" and "the most positive news to date on the economy," ("Economy grows at 5.7% pace ...").
