When the Application has been completed and submitted along with it's fees the review process can now be started. The Building Department will stamp all of the pages of documentation with the date which they were received. The permit number will then be assigned and attached to a log / sign in sheet. Then it is made available for the Plan Reviewer to begin his or her analysis. The office will have any number of plan reviewers depending on the activity of that department who will then take the package and do their reviews regarding proper electrical, plumbing and structural design.
