Is the market like this for you too? - 04/30/07 06:19 PM
Prices in our market have come down quite a bit over the last 18 months with prices where they were in early 2005, but getting everyone on the same page is still very difficult. In order to get any showings on listings, homes have to be priced at rock bottom and getting sellers to agree to that is a major challenge in itself. Even with very good pricing it seems the buyers want to come in with low-ball offers, and then the sellers feeling they have priced too low are unwilling to negotiate. Blogging this and that - 04/20/07 06:44 PM
This blog is to update past thoughts. First let me say that the home staging experience went great! We took a home that had been off and on the market for over a year with no offers, spent less than $2,000 on staging, and ratified a full price offer 4 days after completion! Was it worth the roughly $1800 to have it done? Tell me what you think. (9 comments)

During my stay I met with my ex-broker and some past real estate friends. As always, conversation turns to real estate at some point and the amazement begins to set in. Anderson, a city of about 50,000 and located roughly 25 miles north of Indianapolis is a market that has been hit hard by the shutting down of automobile plants in the last 5 years. A market that has seen (5 comments)
