The population of Wilsonville Oregon is around 21,000 give or take a few citizens, along with lots of babies being born. We are a small town of friendly neighbors, great shop keepers, excellent schools, beautiful well kept neighborhoods, fabulous library, community center with lots to do for seniors, farmers market, pristine parks and lots of activities that are community oriented.

BOWLING A GOOD TIME ~ FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY OR PERHAPS WITH FRIENDS Who does not like bowling? Actually no one that I know. Wilsonville Lanes, located in Town Center Loop across from the main post office is loaded with Fun Fun Fun for the whole family, friends, parties, date night. They have all kinds of enticements to create a great time. Take Cosmic Bowling for Instance, $13 per person, Friday 7-9pm and 9:30 - Midnight. The City of Wilsonville has a number of Independent Retirement Communities and Care Facilities that fill the needs of many retirees all within the City limits of Wilsonville. Many offer independent living, assisted living, Alzheimer's and Dementia Care, skilled nursing, long term care, respite and hospice care, adult day care services and senior in-home visits. Day Dream Ranch In Wilsonville is located close to the Willamette River and the Memorial Park, the cities oldest and largest park. Some homes back up to the park and others have easy walking access. This subdivision was built in the mid to late 1980s and has a myriad of styles including single level ranch and two story homes. Mark your calendars for this event. All proceeds go to Doernbecher Children's Hospital, and all plants are donated by local growers. Prices are more than great, what a way to be able to begin your Spring plantings to beautify or change your own landscape. SPRING TURNED INTO SUMMER IN WILSONVILLE Spring finally turned into Summer in the City Wilsonville and the change has been a gradual one this year. My garden has had a slow start at least two to three weeks behind its normal schedule. Yet who knows what normal really is, it frequently changes its mind. This Spring Daffodils came and went, tulips the same, the Peonies were so beautiful and lasted for such a short time, Roses Blooming and sending out their sweet perfumes and then planting time for any annuals I might add for the summer time. Water Features Open ! Murase Plaza Park and Town center Park ~ May 28, 2011~ 10:00 am - 8:00 pm ~ The Wilsonville Water Features will open Saturday and will remain open daily through Labor Day weekend of this year. Families enjoy the water features, picnics and warm days in both parks.
