This is a poem I wrote several years ago for a painting I did especially for the Christmas Season of that year. It was a painting of an Angel and unfortunately I did not photograph the painting, but I did keep the poem, so I am sharing it with all of you wishing you a Very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, whatever your religious belief may be. My first job out of high school was working for a local Title Company. My garden has had a slow start at least two to three weeks behind its normal schedule. Yet who knows what normal really is, it frequently changes its mind. plus get some exercise and fresh air.....is walking your dog. We have only had two dogs and two cats during our married life, the first dog we had was our Dory Dog. We got her from the Guide Dogs for the Blind. A dropout for them but a blessing for us ! She was the best black Lab anyone could ever ask for and I do know that Lab owners all feel this way about their dog.
