Are you tired of the oil companies charging to much for fuel? - 02/28/11 11:01 PM
Are you tired of the oil companies charging you what  they want to charge you?
Instead of all of us just complaining about fuel prices, we need to be willing to do some thing to make a change. Right?
Here are some things that you can do about it if you are sincere about saving yourself money at the fuel pump.

1/ car pool with others to and from work.
2/ don't drive so fast.
3/ limit your trips to going out.  For example, don't just go to the store for antimicrobial cleaner or milk.  Go shopping all at one time.

Should you Have an Inspection Before Purchasing a Commercial Property? - 02/28/11 10:20 AM

Why You Should Schedule a Commercial Property Inspection before Buying Any commercial property investment involves an element of risk. Having a commercial inspection provides valuable information at the time it is of most value – prior to purchase. At its most basic, a commercial building inspection provides a basic understanding of the overall condition of a building. Inspections reduce surprises. In real estate, surprises cost money. A building inspection provides valuable knowledge for purchase negotiations, remodeling and/or renovation and an assessment of system conditions based on fact rather than assumptions. Regardless of whether your primary concern is the roof or … (1 comments)

The term mold us used interchangeably in the bible as mold, mildew and leprosy.  Mold is comparative to mildew.
Mold is also a fungus growth that can cause a break down of organic matter, where as mildew is a superficial coating or diswcoloration of organic matericals such as paper, paint, cloth or even leather and much more.
In Deuteronomy 28:1-2, 15, the folks of Israel were promised blessings for obedience to God's word.  They were also told that if they fully obeyed the Lord their God and would carefully follow all of His commands, the Lord thy God promised to set … (13 comments)

The Dangers of Mold
Mold is a sneaky thing that can creep into the tiniest of crevices where it will fester, unnoticed for years. Molds multiply very quickly, so even if it is left for a couple days, it can start to spread. Not only is that incredibly gross, it’s also quite dangerous. As mold grows, it produces a variety of myotoxins including trichothecenes, beta glucans, nitric oxides and aflatoxins, which is why it can affect people in so many different ways. Mold can cause a lot a health issues, ranging from mild allergic reactions to serious diseases.

Never Do This - Always Do That - Too Many Opposing Opinions Make for one Confused ActiveRainer I've only been on ActiveRain for about 4 months now but it seems like one minute I see a blog about how to do something great, the next someone else is giving advice the other way. I have seen this on SEO, Realtors, Inspectors, Stagers and the like. It doesn't matter what it is. I'll read a post that tells why you should market to your area, then the next says forget the area, market to your target audience. SEO is all over the … (32 comments)

Have you drained your hot water heater in the past year?
Why do you need to do this you may wonder.

1/ turn off your hot water heater either by the gas or the electrical as well as the water supply.

How often should you have your carpets cleaned and why should you have them cleaned? - 02/19/11 05:51 PM
How often should you have your carpets cleaned and why should you have them cleaned?
Typically, I have my carpets cleaned about once a year.
The reason I have them cleaned is because your carpet acts like a filter in your home and we need to clean the filter so that it is
cleaned for health reasons.
I recommend steam cleaning as well as pre spraying the carpet and giving the carpet pre cleaner a chance to work before
the carpet is steam cleaned using very little soap because using too much soap on your carpet or furniture is not

But That Lived In Look Makes it Feel so Much More Homey! - 02/18/11 09:49 AM
But that lived in look makes it feel so much more homey! I think people wonder this all the time. They tend to lean toward the adage that buyers know we live here. They know we can't keep it perfect all the time, right? Having that lived in feel makes it seem more homey! I have kids, or pets, or whatever the issue may be. How can I possibly expect to keep it this perfect at all times? How clean do I really have to have my home? I think sellers start out on the right foot but after the first … (3 comments)

Mold Facts and Statistics
"God doesn't play dice with the universe" ...and you shouldn't play dice with your health.

Here are some interesting facts you may want to know, for you, your sellers and your buyers.

Ever wonder why there are so many without jobs? - 02/12/11 06:00 PM
Ever wonder why there are so many without jobs?
Could it because some  folks do not want to take just any job?
Could it because some folks are just lazy?
Could it be that some folks are just too picky and will not just take any kind of work?
Could it be because folks want to just let their unemployment to run out?
There are jobs out ther and many jobs at that so why are folks not taking the jobs.

Black Splotches? Funky Smell? Teenagers Bedroom or Health Concern? - 02/09/11 01:11 PM
Black Splotches? Funky Smell? Teenagers Bedroom or Health Concern?
At the sake of sounding like an alarmist, most homes have some type of mold and most is relatively harmless but some can actual kill. Don't believe me? It's been known to happen! Consider the verdict still being debated on actress Brittany Murphy and her husband on whether toxic black mold in their home was actually the killer or the cause of something that killed them both.
Of course not all mold kills and many times our immune systems are strong enough to endure quite a bit, but there are hundreds … (8 comments)

After the Mold Has Invaded! Questions to Ask Your Mold Specialist (Part 2 of 2) - 02/06/11 08:40 AM
Questions to Ask Your Mold Inspector
My last blog about what to look for if you suspect you have mold in your house gave the definitions of three types of mold - not the kind found in your refrigerator!
But now what do you do if you find mold bad enough that you have to call in the big guns to get it taken care of?
First of all, find a certified mold inspector to handle it. Most carpet, or cleaning services don't have the means or the resources to really clean up a toxic mold situation. They would … (7 comments)

It came from the deep. That dark, growing, black ooze that won't seem to go away no matter how much you scrub it. Mold, that nasty little creature that grows with a vengeance! Left untreated, this monster can cause major damage in homes if you are not sure what you've got or how to deal with it properly. If you have never had your home inspected or it's been a while, mold can seep in where you really don't want it to. Mold damage can not only affect your home … (8 comments)
