According to New Hampshire Business Review, Non-Residential Contracts in the State (manufacturing buildings, commercial buildings and hotels) were down 35% from this time a year ago. However, Residential Construction saw a 9% increase from February 2007. The whole picture shows Total Future Construction Contracts are down some $13 million from 2007!

March is town meeting month in New Hampshire. Many towns still use this form of true"democratic" governing. However, the inclusive nature forced the larger cities to resort to switching to the voting booth. Town officers are selected, budgets are set and municipal repairs are slated.
