We have been handeling alot of short sales and we have been very successful with them, and we have actually grown very fond of doing this... We have been working very hard brainstorming new ideas each and everyday in regards to our marketing. We are so excited we just wanted to take the time to announce that we have managed to place our listings on 40 different websites via the interent and that does not include the normal sucn as realtor.com, howardhanna.com or prudential.com. I am taking a survey for Realtors and Consumers....... Realtors - What do you believe is the worst mistake you have made or even expierenced in the past with your buyers and sellers? I studied the market this evening in hopes that with the increase of showings I am personally receiving in November. That October would have been a better month then September. However I am going to provide the stats below.
Lake County Oh, I averaged all the areas in Lake County Oh for the Month of September and October and here are the Statistics. September = 165 homes sold through out lake county. (Mentor being the biggest hit with with 54 homes sold) October = 154 homes sold through out lake county. Is word getting out there to the buyers???? According to Realtor.org October was a much better month then september for buying.... Is it working? Is all of our efforts of speaking that its such a great time to buy, your going to see a huge appreciation on the value of your property and the interest rates are at a 40 year low!!! Well, compared to last October we did sell more homes.........But there is so many efforts being done in trying to promote that we are in a great market to buy. Alright I have told all my real-estate colleagues about how great active rain is! I have been a member for only a little over a month. However I am meeting a lot of real-estate professionals in my area of Lake County that do not feel that blogging is important at all. I have learned alot by just reading and have received alot of great ideas. Why is their not that much blogging going on in the Cleveland Area. Are we behind the times or what??? Being a Realtor is very rewarding. As, I write tonight it's amazing on how many lives you can touch by helping someone sell a home to move on to their next purchase because they have outgrown the current home they are in, or helping someone sell their home because they are facing foreclosure and stopping the whole process, or helping a buyer buy a home that they could of never imagined being in when the were currently renting and the home they just purchased is their own for less then what the could rent. As a Realtor in today's market we see many different characteristics when it comes to our clients buying homes. We are seeing a lot of people taking precautions. Which they should due to the fact that there were many consumers hit with unpractical lending practices in the past. However, I am seeing a slight increase in people looking for homes in Lake County. Now it's not like 2003 when people were buying homes left and right. But I do see a positive outlook in todays market. I sat up the other night as I could not sleep. Ok, today as I am re-doing our presentation on Power Point. I am looking for some input in regards to what you all feel is better. Paper or Computer??? I am a technology freak and believe my computer and the Internet is always the answer. But as for some people who have not adjusted to the Internet, do you feel that it is also very crucial to have a paper presentation just as it is important to have your presentation plugged into power point.
