Make that two helpful employment announcements for Las Vegas within the last month or so.
First it was Wynn Resorts' recent announcement that they would begin hiring for approx. 5,300 jobs in July 2008 to staff Encore (expected to open on the Las Vegas Strip in December).

According to a recent article in Forbes, Station Casinos (now owned by Fertitta/Colony Partners) revealed they may develop a 110-acre parcel slightly west of the $8.4 billion MGM MIRAGE CityCenter project in Las Vegas. The project was referenced by Station Casinos as Viva.
