Today is Veterans' Day, the day to honor those who have served our country and given more then most of us will ever understand. 
Originally Veterans' Day was created to celebrate the end of "The War to End All Wars", World War II and was called Armistice Day.  It was celebrated on November 11, 1918 even though the war was not officiallyl over until the following year.  An armistice between Germany and the Allied nations was agreed to on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month of 1981.  (Don't you love numbers).
