TO BURN OR NOT TO BURN?


The City of Albuquerque and more specifically Bernalillo County has implemented a NO BURN ordinance.  This No Burn ordinance restricts when residence may burn their wood burning fireplaces.   If you do not own an EPA certified wood burning stove or fireplace the restriction applies.  There are many factors that go into the decision making of a No Burn Night or day including weather, current pollution, temperatures and overall air movement.  Each day from October 1st  to February 29th the determination is made if wood burning will be allowed or restricted.  The City … (36 comments)
