We just enjoyed a really nice snow cover on the Sandia Mountains in Albuquerque!  Most years and after a good winter’s snow we take a drive up the north side of the Sandia Mountains in Albuquerque  to enjoy the awesome snow, views and just a good time. This adventure takes us through a small Village called Placitas NM.  Just after Placitas NM we encounter a dirt road with a "Road Closed Until Spring..Travel At Your Own Risk" sign.  We take the risk knowing we have our trusty Toyota 4X4 and continue upwards taking on the … (42 comments)
